Vote For Moms This Tuesday
NWPC Will Continue to Support Women’s Leadership in Times of Unprecedented Change

Women Will Persist!
It goes without saying that the combination of deep disappointment resulting from the winnowing of an iconic field of presidential candidates that included 7 women down to two older white man, and a frightening global health crisis crippling our economy and threatening the fibers of our society meant that there was little to celebrate during the 2020 Women’s History Month. These events should not be viewed as a diminishment of our accomplishments, but rather as the sounding of our rallying cry: like all other challenges, women got this.

NWPC CA Legislative Wins + More
Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm is quoted frequently for declaring that “if they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring in a folding chair!” Congresswoman Chisholm, the first African American woman elected to Congress, the first African American to run for a major political party’s Presidential nomination, the first woman to run for the Democratic Party’s Presidential nomination, and, most importantly, a founding mother of National Women’s Political Caucus, knew that legislative change requires our presence in decision making bodies.
