Women Are Voting
Hello NWPC CA Members, Supporters, and Allies,
Can you believe that we are just three weeks out from the election?! We hope that you are feeling inspired and encouraged by the momentum and look forward to celebrating a woman in the White House and gender parity in our state legislature.
In order to make this vision a reality, we will be sharing ways for you to get plugged in with our endorsed pro-choice candidates to help them during this critical countdown. Stay tuned to our emails and social media for volunteer opportunities to phone bank, canvass, host events, and more. We also encourage you to check out and share our voter guide (below) which lists our endorsed candidates around the state.
Rock the Vote Partnership
We also partnered with Rock the Vote to share our endorsement guide. We are excited to share an awesome tool that can help you along your voting journey. Rock the Vote has launched their Ballot Information Tool to help voters navigate their individual ballots.
This is no ordinary Ballot Tool. It goes beyond showing who is on your ballot; it also shows endorsements from organizations and editorial boards you may be familiar with to help you better understand who on your ballot shares your values. You can compare and contrast candidates at all levels, research ballot measures, save your choices, and even share your final ballot with family and friends. And new this year - the tool will be available in Spanish!
The Election Deadline is Tuesday, November 5th, but early voting has already started in some states. Be a prepared and informed voter:
Check your registration (California's online voter registration deadline is October 21st. But same day, in person registration is available.

And finally, I want to acknowledge your hard work this election cycle. I’ve seen so many of you writing postcards, hosting parties, phone and text-banking, canvassing, and sharing important information via social media. You each play a vital role in creating the world we want to live in. Thank you for all you do!
As always, please reach out if you have ideas you’d like to share, events we should be joining, ways we can collaborate and coalition-build, or anything else. I can be reached at president@nwpc.org.
And remember, your voice is your vote, so go out there and be heard.
With gratitude,
Sabrina Ashjian
